Who We Are
ProtoForge LLC is a veteran-owned, single-member engineering and fabrication shop focused on turning ideas into physical reality. We specialize in 3D printing, CNC machining, and custom design work — serving hobbyists, small businesses, and product developers who need quality parts without the overhead of a big manufacturing operation.
Founded by a Marine Corps veteran with a background in mechanical engineering and a lifelong habit of building things, ProtoForge exists because every good idea deserves a prototype. We believe in practical engineering: designs that work, materials that make sense, and parts that fit the first time (or at least the second).
Engineering Background
Our founder is a Marine Corps veteran with a degree in mechanical engineering and hands-on experience across the full product lifecycle — from concept sketches and FEA analysis to machining and final production. The discipline and attention to detail that comes from military service carries directly into every project we take on.
We're not a faceless print farm. Every project gets personal attention, engineering review, and the kind of care you only get from someone who actually enjoys this work.
